Leadership in Age of Intensity Course

Picture
Like it or not, we are living in the Age of Intensity.

Walk on to any college campus. What do you observe? Ringing, typing, buzzing, updating, and downloading. Between cell phones, text messages, email, Facebook and other social tools, students today are in constant contact. Contact that encourages more "doing."

The Leadership in Age of Intensity course is a 6 week course aimed at providing high school graduates with essential leadership skills to avoid getting caught in the hurricane of college life. It focuses on core leadership skills to remain centered, authentic and balanced.

In this course, participants will learn how to:
Regulate focus on others
Communicate to inspire action in others
Listen with more than your ears
Avoid assumptions and seek clarification
Practice emotional autonomy
and how helping people can hurt people

In addition, you will gain:
Personal insights and reflection
A stronger awareness of yourself at the core
Opportunity to learn from others' experiences
Support and tools to enrich your personal strength and confidence
